Purpose

The main object for which Louth Local Development  is established (the Main Object) is to promote, support and engage in a social development, enterprise development to facilitate rural and urban regeneration and community development designed to benefit and promote the welfare of local communities or to deal with the causes and consequences of social and economic disadvantage and poverty.

Charitable Objects

The main object of Louth Local Development is to promote, support, assist and engage in (a) social development, (b) enterprise development to facilitate rural and urban regeneration or (c) community development, designed to benefit and promote the welfare of local communities or to deal with the causes and consequences of social and economic disadvantage or poverty.

Charitable Activities

Louth Local Development delivered a range of state funded social inclusion rural development activities in County Louth including: the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme The Rural Development Programme The ABC Child Poverty Initiative (the Genesis Programme) Tús labour market activation programme Job Club Local Employment Service

Louth Local Development is fully compliant with the Charities Regulator Governance Code.
